I know, I’m a bit late for my Beauty Favorites, but I didn’t want to miss the chance to show you what I loved to use last month. Can you guess which 5 high-end and drugstore products are on my favorites list?
Make Up Forever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Mattifying Primer
When it comes to prolonging the wear of my make up or reducing the shine on my face, I love to use a good primer. I have to admit that I had a hard time trying to achieve the best results with this Make Up Forever Primer. I try not to use this primer when I’m having dry skin. Trust me, it will only emphasize your dry areas. But it works wonders for people with oily skin. It keeps my oily face and shine at bay throughout the day and won’t break me out.
Essence Forbidden Volume Mascara and Forbidden Volume False Lash Mascara Topcoat
When I found the perfect mascara, I like to stick with it. But this essence mascara drew my attention, despite it’s low price. In the past I didn’t make good experience with drugstore mascara, but this one changed my mind. Volume and extension? Sounded great.
Although the normal Forbidden Volume Mascara doesn’t provide a lot of volume, my lashes look natural, clump- free and yet impactful. Use the top coat for an amazing extension of your lashes. In my opinion, this mascara is perfect for short lashes like mine.
Hourglass Opaque Rouge Lipstick
Matte, long-lasting lip colors are my weakness! I don’t know why, but I used to love this one here last year and suddenly I completely forgot about it. I love this one because it’s so long-wearing! It even survives fatty food and wears off nicely, although it will feel like you’re wearing a coat of thicker lip color on your lips.
L’Oreal Indefectible 24h Matte Make Up
If I know that the day is going to be a long one, I always know which make up to wear. This one from L’Oreal – always. It doesn’t clog your pores and mattyfies it perfectly and naturally for hours. What I especially love about this foundation is how nicely it covers impurities without looking like a mask or emphasizing dry patches. I achieve the best results using a damp beauty blender.
Beauty Blender Sponge
It took me really VERY long to switch to the other side! I used to wear my make up with a round buffer brush and I was quite convinced that this was the best way for me to apply make up. How wrong I was! The beauty blender is now my holy grail for everything: concealer, make up and translucent powder. A true all-rounder!
